Playwright, director and performer Virginie Daigle is a graduate of the École supérieure de théâtre at UQAM. She creates theatre and musical theatre that reaches every kind of audience, from intimate venues to parks, festivals and public squares.

She is the writer, co-creator and performer of SOS Marcel Express, an outdoor family show that toured from Abitibi-Témiscamingue to New Brunswick in the summer of 2026, with 42 performances for some 5,000 spectators. With Félix Imbault, she is also building Art-Bulance, a production and touring company that presents circus, clown and street arts shows, including SOS Marcel Express.

In 2024, she wrote Mission Tradition, a musical created especially for the Carnaval de Québec, which delighted the family audience of this iconic event.

Trained in musical theatre writing with the Canadian Musical Theatre Writers Collective and in Shakespearean acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Virginie dreams of a popular, joyful and daring theatre that brings people together wherever they are.
