A generous and sensitive multidisciplinary artist trained in hula-hooping, general circus, and percussive dance, Josiane Lamoureux has carried out professional projects and contributed to social causes in Quebec as well as in several countries. In 2006, she founded the first fire performance company in Quebec City (FogoRasto) with other artists, as well as the juggling duo Séquoia in 2012. The artist is one of the founding members of Caravane Coop, a cooperative for free training in circus arts established in 2016 in Quebec, in Limoilou. That same year, she joined the company Les Malchaussées as a percussive dance performer and trainer. In 2018, she embarked on a creative endeavor for research on the project of Laurence Petitpas to produce the puppet work Mutatis Mutandis! Josiane Lamoureux has numerous collaborations with artists from all backgrounds, in addition to carrying out spontaneous projects.
She was part of the Cabaret Zmâla committee from 2016 to 2022, during which she participated in organizing events. She has also been a social circus instructor since 2006.
